For 4Sight AI Hackathon

1. Registration & Eligibility
1.1 Accurate Information: All information provided during registration must be complete, accurate, and truthful. Any misrepresentation may result in immediate disqualification.
1.2 Team Composition: Teams must consist of 2–6 members and designate a Team Lead. Any changes to membership require written approval from the organizers.
1.3 Capability Showcase: If requested, teams must participate in an online capability demonstration. Participation and satisfactory demonstration are mandatory for final selection.

2. Code & Repository Requirements
2.1 Official Repository: All source code, documentation, and deliverables must be committed to the organizers’ GitHub repository.
2.2 Documentation & Comments: Code must include clear comments and a README detailing technologies, tools, and setup instructions.
2.3 Ownership & License: By participating, teams grant AP Police, 4SightAI a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute any part of submitted code, ideas, and solutions for any purpose.

3. Data & Security
3.1 Data Layer Usage: Participants must access law-enforcement data only through the provided secure data-services layer.
3.2 Confidentiality: All data, APIs, and internal discussions are confidential. Participants must not share or publish sensitive information.
3.3 Compliance: Any misuse of data or breach of security protocols will result in disqualification and potential legal action.

4. Participant Conduct
4.1 Professionalism: Participants must conduct themselves respectfully toward organizers, mentors, and fellow teams. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
4.2 Compliance: Teams must comply with all venue rules, instructions from organizers, and local laws. Non-compliance may lead to removal from the event.
4.3 Safety : Any unsafe activity or violation of safety guidelines is strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.

5. Evaluation & Prizes
5.1 Evaluation Panel : A panel of IPS officers and domain experts will evaluate solutions based on predefined criteria.
5.2 Final Decision : All evaluation decisions by the IPS panel are final and binding. No appeals will be entertained.
5.3 Prizes & Awards : Prize distribution is subject to verification of compliance with these Terms & Conditions.

6. Liability & Indemnification
6.1 No Liability : Organizers assume no liability for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind arising from participation in the hackathon.
6.2 Indemnification : Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless 4SightAI, its partners, and affiliates against any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from their participation or breach of these terms.

7. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mangalagiri, Andhra Pradesh.

8. Miscellaneous
8.1 Amendments: Organizers reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via WhatsApp and posted on the hackathon website.
8.2 Severability : If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
8.3 Entire Agreement: These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between participants and organizers regarding the hackathon.
